8 "TOURISTY" D.C. THINGS THAT WILL ACTUALLY NEVER GET OLD

Because who doesn't love playing tourist!?

1. The Monuments at Night

This is my all time favorite D.C. activity. Seeing the monuments at night gives such a different perspective! Getting there at sunset and seeing the transition from day to night is breathtaking really. Plus there are a lot less people later in the night so it’s a lot more relaxing.

2. The National Gallery of Art’s rooftop

Another great spot to unwind (can you tell what my favorite pastime is?). Plus there’s a cool view of the Capitol!

3. Georgetown Waterfront Park

The Georgetown Waterfront area is great to grab dinner or drinks any night of the week!

4. Lattes in CityCenter

I love CityCenter because I love all the different seasonal installations, shopping, and there is a great coffee/gelato spot there (Dolcezza)!

5. The Library of Congress

The Library of Congress is one of those places that, no matter how many times you visit, will always be so beautiful!

6. The Wharf

The Wharf is great for dinner, drinks, or just hanging out! Plus they have swings and a fire pit so honestly what more could you need!?

7. The U.S. Capitol

The U.S. Capitol is also another building that is breathtaking every time you visit! Plus there is a huge lawn for relaxing or a cute picnic.

8. Georgetown Cupcake

Baked & Wired lovers - don’t @ me. (side note: they are on Uber Eats so if you aren’t trying to wait in line – just have it delivered!)
